Yes. Most students make quick progress once someone shows them what to focus on. In one session, your teen learns how to solve problems they used to miss and leaves knowing exactly how to keep improving.
Your teen gets step-by-step help on their weakest ACT Math topics at the Columbia Public Library—plus a $35 prep book marked with the exact chapters to study first.
No cost. No pressure. Just real progress.
A low ACT Math score doesn’t just hurt on test day—it shapes college choices, scholarship chances, and the financial load your family carries. Every point matters, yet most students study without any real plan. They guess, they hope, and nothing changes.
ACT Math isn’t just another test—it’s thousands of dollars in scholarships and a major part of college admissions. But most families don’t know how to get their teen’s score to the level that unlocks those opportunities. The wrong study plan or the wrong kind of tutoring can cost a family real money and limit future options.
Our free 2-hour ACT Math Starter Session gives your teen the kind of focused instruction that leads to real score gains—not months from now, but right away. Using the same system that raised our own ACT Math score from a 24 to a 35, we coach them through the exact types of problems that move their score fast. And with the free $35 prep book marked with the chapters that matter most, you’ll know exactly how your teen can continue improving.
We’ll help them take the first step toward the scholarships they deserve.

After only one session, your teen walks away solving questions they used to miss. Seeing that immediate progress gives them momentum and shows them that higher scores are absolutely possible.
Instead of guessing what to practice, your teen leaves with a $35 prep book marked with the exact chapters to study first, giving them a focused path that cuts out wasted time and confusion.
Because ACT Math plays a major role in merit aid, even a small score jump can mean thousands in savings. Your teen walks out knowing exactly how to raise their score and open those doors.

Choose a time at the Columbia Public Library that works for both you and your teen so you can get them moving toward real ACT Math progress right away.

We walk your teen through targeted ACT Math problems and explain them step-by-step so they can fix their weakest areas and start improving their score right away.

Come in at the end of the session so you can see the problems your teen can now solve, see their study roadmap, and understand how their score can continue rising from here.
“Nathan has helped save my daughter’s grade in College Algebra! She started out the semester really struggling and now has been making the highest grade in class!! Thanks Nathan!!”
“Super grateful for Zach’s help in Calc 2. He took my scores from literally failing my first exam with a 45 to getting a 83 on the second exam.”
“Great math tutoring! Nathan Hollenbeck was incredibly helpful both for my grade and for my overall understanding. Before I had his help, I was scoring 41-51 on tests. After I had his help I had a 71 on my tests and I feel well prepared for the final.”
Yes, it’s completely free—there’s no catch at all. We offer the starter session because once parents see how quickly their teen improves, they usually want to continue. The $35 prep book is yours to keep no matter what you decide.

Yes. We teach step-by-step methods that make ACT Math easier to understand. Even students who struggle in school start solving questions they used to guess on by the end of the session.
All sessions are held at the Columbia Public Library in a private study room. Once you book your teen’s starter session, we reserve the room for that exact time so they can work without distractions.
The session is max two hours. The first 90 minutes are dedicated to focused ACT Math tutoring, and the final 15 minutes are for the parent check-in.
Nope—we provide everything your high schooler will need, including pencils, printed test materials, worksheets, and a TI‑83 calculator. If they have a calculator they’re more comfortable with, they’re welcome to bring it.
It’s a focused ACT Math tutoring session where we identify your teen’s weak areas, then teach a few targeted topics that will give them the biggest score jump right away. At the end, you join a short parent check-in where we explain where your teen stands and outline their options so you can decide—without pressure—whether more tutoring makes sense.
Right now, we focus only on ACT Math. It’s where high schoolers tend to struggle most—and where we have the most experience, thanks to our background tutoring college math. While we’re not tutoring other sections at the moment, our team does have strong ACT experience overall, and we may expand in the future based on what families need most.
